| Research a topic via web browsing without modifying files | <topic> |
Research the following topic thoroughly using web browsing and search tools: $1
Guidelines
- Do NOT modify, create, or delete any files. This is a research-only task.
- Use web search and fetch tools (e.g.,
web_explore,ollama_web_search,ollama_web_fetch, orctx_fetch_and_index) to gather authoritative, current information. - If the topic has multiple sub-questions or angles, break them down and cover each.
- Cross-reference multiple sources where appropriate; prefer primary/official sources.
- Cite sources inline (URLs or titles) so findings are verifiable.
Output
Produce a well-structured research summary suitable for being saved as a Markdown file. Include:
- Overview — short summary of the topic
- Key Findings — main points, organized by sub-topic
- Details & Evidence — supporting facts, figures, quotes, with source URLs
- Open Questions / Caveats — anything unresolved, conflicting, or uncertain
- Sources — consolidated list of references
Keep the output focused and skimmable — use headers, bullet points, and short paragraphs.
After presenting the findings
Ask the user:
"Would you like me to save these findings to a
.mdfile? (if so, propose a filename based on the topic)"
Only create the file if the user explicitly confirms.
